Here at DRS, we are delighted to announce that we are now an approved installer for Mitsubishi heating systems, including its range of air source heat pumps.

Air source heat pumps absorb heat from the outside air to heat a building, including its hot water. The most efficient of these can still extract heat even when outside air temperatures are as low as -15°C. As long as there is available space outside, these can be used on both domestic and commercial buildings.

Mitsubishi’s range of commercial Ecodan Monobloc Air Source Heat Pumps includes the Ecodan QAHV Monobloc Air Source Heat Pump, which is designed specifically for commercial sanitary hot water application. These pumps deliver hot water up to 90 degrees Centigrade to provide a low carbon, high temperature hot water solution for hospitals, hotels, leisure centres and student accommodation.

Other products in the Mitsubishi range include the Ecodan CAHV Monobloc Air Source Heat Pump System, which can operate singularly, or form part of a multiple system of up to 688kW capacity; and the Ecodan CRHV ground/water source heat pump monobloc system, which provides an integrated renewable heating solution capable of delivering the highest levels of COP (Co-efficient of performance) efficiency throughout the year.

The high efficiency of these products provides significant savings in running costs and carbon emissions when compared to traditional electric heating systems.
